NIKKI CRAWFORD

Housing Oprations Manager

She/They

Nikki is a proud transgender woman working across Northeast Ohio, speaking out on violence prevention, LGBTQ+ issues, and sex education. Through public speaking and community engagement, Nikki amplifies the voices of people who are too often denied opportunities to speak for themselves.

An activist, advocate, and educator, Nikki draws on their background in psychology and hands-on community work to inform policy, challenge harmful cultural norms, and drive meaningful community action. Their approach bridges gaps between advocacy, education, and policy, offering perspectives often lost when this work is done in isolation.

Nikki believes that education and open, honest communication are powerful tools for reducing — and in many cases preventing — harm, beginning at the local level.
