Full Spectrum’s Rainbow House of the Mahoning Valley is proud to be Ohio’s only LGBTQIA+ adult homeless shelter, providing affirming, inclusive, and life-changing support to individuals in need. Located in Youngstown, this brand-new shelter stands as a beacon of hope, safety, and dignity for LGBTQIA+ adults experiencing homelessness in the Mahoning Valley.

For many in the LGBTQIA+ community, homelessness comes with unique challenges — including discrimination, family rejection, and lack of access to affirming services. Rainbow House was created to directly address those barriers. Our shelter offers not only safe housing, but also compassionate care, connection to resources, case management, and a welcoming environment where every individual is respected for who they are.
