Tim Bortner - CEO
Tim Bortner is currently a local business owner and 2016 graduate of Youngstown State University. While at YSU he focused on many areas, one of which was Graphic Design. He worked closely with YSUnity LGBTQIA; Youngstown State University’s most visible and vocal GSA, for over 5 years holding different officer positions including President. Tim works very closely with the LGBTQIA+ population throughout the Mahoning Valley and is well known for his activism. From 2012 - 2017 he had accepted the role as the Vendor Coordinator of the annual Pride Youngstown Festival to help bring light to LGBT people and celebrate opening with community. He has kept strong relationships and networked with local LGBT friendly businesses, and allies. Tim helped to form BCC Full Spectrum Community Outreach Center because he saw a lack of services and resources for the LGBT population in the tri - county and outlying areas. While graphic design is a career for Tim, helping the LGBTQIA+ community is his passion.
Charlane Tirabassi - Events Director
Charlane is currently a technical support advisor in her full-time work. She has ample customer relations and management experience. She also has experience in business to business sales. Charlane has a knack for event planning and creating an online presence through social media. She is passionate about progressing LGBTQIA+ visibility and support in the Mahoning Valley. She is excited for this opportunity to apply her experience and skills toward facilitating a strong relationship between Full Spectrum Community Outreach and our valley.
Daniel Tirabassi - Director of Client Care
Daniel is currently a Criminal Justice major with a minor in LGBTQ Studies graduating in 2019. He is the founder of Pride Alliance at Kent State Trumbull, a new GSA on campus focused on bringing LBGTQIA+ students and allies together to become more visible. He plans on pursuing a Masters in Counseling upon graduating with a focus on LGBTQIA+. As a member of the transgender community, he strives to support others in the community as well as advocates for LGBTQIA+ rights.
Andrew DeFratis - Marketing Coordinator
Andrew is currently Communications Director for the Alzheimer's Association, Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, managing awareness and community relations efforts across 17 counties since 2015. He has a BA in Education from the University of Akron, with additional experience in government relations and volunteer advocate management. He’s worked with a wide range of nonprofits in Akron and Cleveland, and advocates strongly that all Ohioans must have access to safe, local LGBTQIA+ resources like those offered through Full Spectrum Community Outreach.
